Cahuita, Limón, Costa Rica
ReplyDeleteCahuita is one of the best places in Limón and better said in Costa Rica. People kindly welcome you with a big smile.
Cahuita beach is incredibly beautiful although its waves are dangerously strong due to the ocean currents.
In Cahuita you will find deliciously rich dishes. Among the most common dishes are the Pan Bon, the Rice & Beans, pati and something very common that is deliciously rich is the arepa frita, they add it to the typical breakfast.
The houses in Cahuita are very colorful and cheerfully decorated.
The streets are carefully clean and there is very little traffic.
Cahuita is part of Limón. In this province there are two really important ports such as Puerto Limón and Puerto Moín.
The economy is well as both ports land significant quantities of containers from all over the world.
Cahuita is a place to walk quietly.
Here is one of the incredibly beautiful national parks, the Cahuita National Park. The Park protects and preserves a variety of species of marine flora and fauna.
In this happily place you can swim, walk in the forest, diving, surf or just exercise.
In Cahuita, as traditions, the famous turnos are held where people sell items creatively made by themselves.
By María José Solano Chavarría, Level 3
Hi Marìa Josè. Cahuita sounds like a great place to walk around. Did you dive in Cahuita beach?
DeleteAnd what was your favorite Caribbean food?
DeleteHi María José, I really want to vist Cahuita again. Is it a safe place to visit with pets?
DeleteHi Ana Yancy!
DeleteOh no no. I don't dive. But when I went to Cahuita my friends did. It is an extreme sport for me.
And, of my favorite Caribbean foods I can add the arepa frita for breakfast and at all foods times.
Hi Evelyn!
DeleteSure, of course!
Cahuita is very friendly and you can even observe many visitors with their pets.
Hi Maria. ¿What do you like to do in Cahuita?,¿there is sport fishing?
DeleteHi Jean Carlos!
DeleteWhen I went to Cahuita I like to walk on all the trails in the National Park. I really enjoy the peace, the vegetation and the animals, especially the sloths.
I'm not sure if there is sport fishing, but people do fish for their subsistence.
Hello Maria Jose, how often do you go to Cahuita? And have you eaten ¨pati¨?
DeleteHello Maria José, you have visited the Cahuita National Park, what is your experience?
DeleteFortuna, San Carlos, Alajuela, Costa Rica.
ReplyDeleteThis year I visited La Fortuna of San Carlos. People there is very friendly and humble. People of San Carlos dress casually because of the weather.
The food there is prepared traditionally because is one of most visited places for tourist in Costa Rica.
Olla de Carne and Casado are very popular dishes in San Carlos, and for drink you can get a delicious coffee.
Houses there are more separated than in Cartago and have big green areas and even some houses have fruit trees.
In San Carlos the streets are narrow, usually with space for just two cars and are very long. You can find asphalt streets and stone streets.
The weather is humid and usually hot. Sometimes it rains loudly because is a mountainous area.
One tradition in San Carlos is the celebration of San Carlos Borromeo in November 4th when the town celebrates with parades.
The economic in San Carlos it is based on tourism and farming. There is a lot of adventure activities, hot springs and hotels.
The iconic attraction in La Fortuna is the Arenal Volcano.
By Reyes Flores Raabe, Level 3.
Good afternoon Reyes.
DeleteI like to visit San Carlos.
When did you go to La Fortuna did you visit the San Carlos waterfall?
Hi Reyes. Is it true that in La Fortuna it rains every day? Were you afraid that the volcano would erupt?
DeleteHello Reyes, did you go to hot springs in San Carlos? What was your favorite place there?
DeleteHello María José, I haven’t visit San Carlos waterfall yet, but I would like it in future.

ReplyDeleteGuatuso is in the province of Alajuela, Costa Rica
ReplyDeleteIn Guatuso the people are very friendly and humble, in this place is cultivated a lot of sugar cane, pineapple, cassava and also they work in livestock, most of the houses in there are made of wood or cement because the majority of people there have a very low-income, the streets are not very good, there are so many ballast streets and they are not in a good condition , the weather is not good at all it rains almost all year round and it has a high humidity so is too hot at the same time, the traditions of this place are very similar to those of the whole country as the meals, the clothing and the activities. The economy is very poor because of the lack of work and low pay in agriculture and the other jobs available in the zone, although Guatuso has very nice places to visit such as Rio Celeste the waterfall also the maze that is located in Katira there are very nice places to stay and go and visit.
By Emanuelle Molina Arrieta, Level 3
Hi Emanuelle. I have never visited Guatuso, could you give me the address how to get there? Could you swim in the Rio Celeste?
DeleteHi Emanuelle. ¿What do you like the most about Guatuso?
DeleteI'm bad at giving directions but Weis can help you with direction, of course you can enter the river to bathe, but you come out with blue eyes jajaja
DeleteHello . What I like most about Guatuso is the waterfall of Rio Celeste
DeleteHello Emanuel, what does sugar cane taste like?
Deleteyou never worked in this place?
Hello Emmanuel, really there is a
Deletelabyrinth in Guatuso?
Hi Juan Carlos, sugar cane tastes like any sugar cane. JAJAJAJ
DeleteI didn't work there.
Hi Reyes, If there are two labyrinths in Guatuso they are very nice.
DeleteIn November 2018 I was lucky enough to visit my best friend. Her name is Miloslawa, she is from Poland but lives in England.
ReplyDeleteI was 12 days in London in the little town of Alfriston.
Alfriston is a village in the East Sussex district of Wealden.
People in United Kingdom are very polite to each other. They are quiet and silent people. They dress very formal even to go to the supermarket. Food in London is unhealthy, if you want to eat healthy it is very expensive, since a salad is much more expensive than a hamburger with fries. The most popular dish is called fish and chips, and it was delicious for me.
The houses are very beautiful spacious and with beautiful gardens. Many houses are victorian style. The streets of Alfriston are made of cobblestones and very narrow. You have to drive on the right side and that was very striking for me.
The weather was very cold, of course it was winter, fortunately it never rained. I heard it was that rain is very common in that city. The bars in England are known as pubs. An important symbol of British social life, pubs are places where English people meet to chat, eat, drink with friends. All English holidays are called Bank Holiday and have that name because almost all shops and banks are closed.
Punctuality comes naturally to the English, there is no delay option for an engagement. The United Kingdom is one of the 10 most important economies in the world by volume of GDP. That makes people have a good quality of life. By. Ana Yanci Carvajal Obando

DeleteHi Ana Yanci, What kind of food do you find if you visit a pub?
DeleteHi, Evelyn I didn`t eat because I was not hungry. I had a dark beer, but I didn`t like it at all.
DeleteHello Ana Yanci, would you go back to where your friend?
DeleteAnd what if a person for some reason came to a meeting on time?
Hello, Ana Yanci during your stay in United Kingdom did you hear about Brexit?
DeleteTamarindo is located in the canton of Santa Cruz, Guanacaste in Costa Rica
ReplyDeleteThe inhabitants of Tamarindo are national and international. They are very friendly, hard working, most of the people are engaged in fishing, agriculture and hotel employees for tourists.
The food is very delicious, you can find a variety of typical dishes such as homemade milk cajeta, piñonates, clam meatball soup, corn chicha, curd soup, stuffed tortillas and more delicious foods from the area.
There are concrete and wooden houses, they are very beautiful houses.
The streets of the place are not the best there are with holes and some only stone streets, but there are parts with good construction of the street.
Tamarindo is located in an unusual region of dry tropical forests, which are green and during the rainy season the place is also hot.
The traditions that exist in the tamarind such as its music, the marimba, the guitar, the quijongo and the typical dances are part of the traditions.
The economy people help themselves financially with fishing, hotels, the sale of street food, merchandise and more.
Surft is the most famous sport in the area and most practiced by national and international people.
By: Jean Carlos Serrano Chaves, Level 3
Hi Jean Carlos!
DeleteI know Tamarindo but I went for work only for a few hours. :(
Would you recommend that I visit Tamarindo for a relaxing vacation?

ReplyDeleteGrano de Oro, Turrialba, Costa Rica
ReplyDeleteI visited this place for job but it was an unique experience. Grano de Oro is the Cabecar indigenous area. Is really far from Turrialba city, so if you want to visit this place, I recommend you to be patience and enjoy the ride. The streets aren’t asphalt road and its dangerous in the rainy season but the place it’s incredibly beautiful with a lot of nature and wet weather.
In Grano de Oro you can find the most wonderful wooden build in the area, it is the “Centro de Capacitación Indígena Käpäcläjui”and it works like a shelter for people to share with the community.
People are friendly, but some of they don’t speak Spanish very well, so it’s hard to try to have a conversation. Some people use traditional indigenous costumes, they dress colorfully clothes.
Houses are very simply and have a lot of green area, most of the people live into the mountains, so it’s common to find a lot of trails that people use to move and sometimes they need to ride a horse or walk for days to visit the central area of Grano de Oro. The economy is based on agricultural and livestock activities. Subsistence farming is the means of survival for most of Grano de Oro’s rural population.
In Grano de Oro downtown you don’t find restaurants but, on the way, you can visit Aroma de Montaña, it’s a restaurant near to Grano de Oro and you can find the traditional Costa Rican food, they prepared deliciously dishes. The restaurant has a lookout where you can enjoy the view of the mountains.
If you are looking for a quite experience, I recommend you to visit Grano de Oro.
By Evelyn Martínez, Level 3.

DeleteHello Evelyn

ReplyDeleteCancun, Mexico
ReplyDeleteI visited it at Easter this year, to vacation, when we arrived the people received us in an incredible way, very attentive, helpful and very good people at all, it was incredible, really,
Their houses were mansions, they seemed from a place like New York, although of course, as everywhere there were also simple towns and humble people, their streets were incredible, great highways that were impressive without potholes or anything like that, their economy was excellent. Although it is a place made for tourism, it is a very cheap country, here in Costa Rica with the purchase of a bag of rice you bought 3 bags, it was super cheap, the rent of a very well equipped apartment for a whole week was 90 thousand Colones, when in Costa Rica it depends on the place with that not even for one night, the place is a tropical climate, it is sunny but it is not hot, it is a perfect climate in the season we went, and their traditions are not very unique although the Mayan culture It reminds a bit of the indigenous peoples of our country, but above all what stands out the most is its gastronomy, it is incredible the way to prepare their food for real that you will want to live there for forever.
By:Juan Carlos Barboza Padilla
What was your favorite place in all of Cancun? Did you bring cheap rice to Costa Rica?
DeleteWere you going alone or with someone in your family?
DeleteWould you like to go or through and why?
hi Ana Yanci
Deletemy favorite place was the pyramids.
and I did not bring rice since it took a lot of space and weight in the suitcase
hello emanuel
DeleteI was going with my family
And if I would love it, it is an amazing place
Hello juan carlos. How was your experience with mexican food? Would you visit Mexico again?
DeleteSamara´s City.
ReplyDeleteI would like to visit Samara again, because people live happily, they always smile friendly, the seafood and fish taste very well, although you can also eat foreign food, but it can be very expensive. The owners of the houses usually use them cleverly as rental cabins, so they can attract tourism easily , being this its main economy, there are also many hotels and commercial premises; they also engage to livestock and fishing; its streets are of ballast and there is a very quiet atmosphere. Its main attraction is Samara Beach, although it also has others beaches nearby as Carrillo beach, both are sharing perfectly sunny climate most of the year.
hi Dany How many hours driving does it take to get to Samara from Cartago? Samara is the best beach you have ever visited?
DeleteHi Ana, I usually take 6 to 7 hours driving. Samara is one of the best to share with friends, I have visited beaches in Guanacaste, Limon and Puntarenas, I can't tell you which one is the best.
DeleteHi María, i recomend you Olas Restaurant and Bar,there you can find delicious meals, drinks, pool table, table football and anothers activities, this place is in from of the beach.
DeleteHello Danny
Deletewhere did you stay when you went?
At what time of the year do you recommend visiting it?
Hello Danny which others places do you like in Guanacaste?
DeleteLa Fortuna San Carlos, Alajuela
ReplyDeleteI visit San Carlos very frequently because I have family there, the people I know are very nice and make you feel at home, in terms of food it is the same as everywhere else, pizza, hamburger, etc. but there is a pizza restaurant called pizza ranch, which is ranked number 1 for the best pizza I have ever tasted, the houses of those who live there are simple but very beautiful and the rest are many 5-star hotels, being a tourist place and having a great traffic of foreigners most of the economy comes from this resource, so those who live there rent cabins and sell handicrafts also due to the same traffic of tourists the streets are well paved, the weather is very changeable in 15 minutes it may be raining and the next 15 minutes be sunny
Hi Pablito, Can you give me the address of that restaurat? Do you know which is the best month (weather) to visit La Fortuna?
DeleteHi, Pablo
DeleteWhat do you like the most about San Carlos?
have you visited the arenal volcano?
Hello Pablo, I love la Fortuna, which road do you prefer to going to la Fortuna?
DeleteHave you ever been in Baldi?
Hi Marìa Fernanda. Wichc hotel did you stay in Antigua? The crafts are very expensive?
ReplyDeleteHow long were you in Guatemala?
ReplyDeleteWould you recommend me to go to Guatemala?
Merida Yucatan It is known as the White City because most of the buildings are built with limestone, which is a white stone., but the nickname is also attributed to the cleanliness of its streets and the color of the traditional clothing of its people. In this city you find the Mayan spirit, nearby I went to several Cenotes and it was an incredible experience, because they are caves under the ground full of clean water, they are very mysterious. I also really enjoyed the mystical pyramids, many cannot be touched, but I went to one of them, called Uxmal, where I was able to climb to the top and see the entire city from there.
ReplyDeleteMy best experience was with food, both in restaurants and street food, corn, tacos, marquesitas, tortas, and I even got to try crickets and ants.
The only thing I did not like was the heat of the day, so to walk through the streets and parks you have to wait for sunset, but it is not a problem because the streets are very safe, you do not have to fear thieves, You are not in any danger, rather the people are very friendly and kind. It is certainly a place to visit many times.
hi hazel
DeleteWhat was the richest "marquesita" you tried?
What kind of ¨cenotes¨ did you visit? (open, closed or semi-open)
Hello Hazel, did you travel along or with company?
Deletehello maria fernanda
ReplyDeleteCan you tell me the name of a typical beech food?
what was your favorite part of the trip?
Hello María Fernanda, Antigua Guatemala is the perfect Holy Week for the catholicism, are you agree with that?
ReplyDeleteHow long was your instance in Antigua Guatemala?
